What to include

• The article URL and title.
• The statement you believe is wrong and the proposed correction.
• Links or documents that support your request.
• A reply address if you would like to be contacted.

Correction standards

Editors should assess the reported issue against the available evidence. A material factual correction should include a dated note in the article explaining what changed. Clarifications should explain wording that was ambiguous without suggesting an error where none has been established.

Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. Significant updates should have a visible update time. Original publication dates should be preserved rather than changed to make older reporting appear new.
